BRIEF:

The GPB NOW Mobile App is a concept design for a way to provide GPB’s loyal audience with a seamless way to watch and listen to their favorite GPB TV and Radio programs straight from the phone.

GPB currently utilizes SkyBlue/Public Media apps to facilitate their TV and Radio content via mobile. While this solution offers a solid answer, the GPB NOW App design would allow for more custom design and functionality.

WIREFRAMES

The concept takes cues from a range of streaming apps in public media and beyond that have perfected the experience of both listening and watching on demand. In order, to stay competitive GPB NOW’s Mobile concept utilizes:

• Carousel functionality to navigate through available content.

• Search for easy discovery of content.

• Listen Live for listeners to be “in tune” with GPB Radio as they broadcast both local and NPR programming.

• Standard public media features like donate and member benefits for audience members to keep public media thriving while also reaping localized perks and benefits.
